If there was a legal way to dismiss this complaint because plaintiff is an ass, I really wish the judge would have done it! How self-absorbed can a person be?

No. And that’s a good thing. Decisions should be based on the merits of the case and not grievances between the judge and an attorney. I’ve been telling clients all week that we have to slow their case. It’s a tough spot to be in.

I want to swear. I really want to use some potty mouth language. I really do. Thank you for sharing this. Maybe somehow people could put on some perspective, even as an artist. But somehow I doubt it.

Can't the judge also fine the guy for disrespect of court or something?
-
No. Plaintiffs counsel has not abused the court system or disrespected the court. The judge is pissed be because he pushed the issue when he should have waited.

I'm pretty sure my paralegal wife would 100% endorse this quote.

I seem to remember something about denial of a TRO not being appealable and federal judges already being swamped before this time out.

Laws that are not worth the time to be enforced during pandemic should not be written in the first place ;)

This was an entertaining read. Hope the plaintiff can take a lesson or two from being put in their place just so.
