There’s normal people in SF?
I'm a normal liberal.
Who has a problem with Boudin at the moment.
Nah, I know what he’s doing. To fix an unjust system you have to break it and re-make it. It’ll get worse before it gets better. The judicial system is not broken but designed for unjust mass incarceration that is creating these social issues and upending lives along the way.
I would agree with you to a point. EXCEPT for the HATE CRIMES that happened in Chinatown as a direct result of people being released who were multiple offenders.
Those offenders had other issues that locking them up won’t solve. Someone else will take his place if the environment does not change. Chesa is forcing us to confront those issues and figure out new approaches address these issues since the old ways isn’t working.
Alright. But there are some people that just want to watch the world burn. Being victim of a hate crime and an assault and I should know.pic.twitter.com/cgsD51PmJi
Yeah for sure. But it’s very important to not let your personal negative experiences leaves you bitter to the world. Empathy is what makes us human. Don’t ever lose your humanity.
If our personal experiences aren’t enough to guide our perspective… what is? Quasi intellectual theories?
Or perhaps developing the abilities to see beyond yourself in the world. Not just your own world, which the real world does not revolve around.
Accusations of solipsism are held null and void after you’ve been robbed at gunpoint
There are people committing crimes in every political system. This is beyond political systems.
