    There is a great data visualization from about diversity in tech... here are the numbers for Twitter compared to the US population. Pretty obvious that Women, Latino, and Black are under represented.

    So it turns out you definitely don't want to do this as it could cause memory leaks 😅 There is another API you can use `events.once` which does exactly what I was trying to do and has been around for almost a year
