When it comes to touching a women , respect her consent , but when it comes to Lord Ayyappa ,who is a lifelong celibate n has observed bhrahmacharya , let Supreme Court decide who can touch him. No means a No, b it a woman or Lord Ayappa. @iAnkurSingh @ShefVaidya @#savesabrimala
Unless it violated human rights and basic ethical life , it should be allowed to continue . Be it Islam or Judaism , why should anyone decide if a male should have circumcision ? Can SC disallow 4 wives which I think is extremely unethical ?

With the open mind, let wome go to temples who want to go. Respect them too who don't want to go. Let Lord ayyappa decide who is doing right and wrong and punish those We are nobody to decide 4 him. Let's care of our personal devotion. God is powerful enough 2 decide for himself

Anupam, take it from a South Indian who has lived most of his life in the north. A few North Indians who are pontificating on this, do so out of ignorance of traditions passed down hundreds of years in the south. How would you feel if someone spoke against kanwad yatra?

This country is beautiful because of spirituality and south has huge contribution in that and so huge respect.. So sorry if my words caused hurt. I just want to say we should stay open to changes with times. On the name of 'age old tradition', social rules shud not be made.

Change is good and Hindus and Hinduism has always embraced it. Changes like abolition of polygamy and sati were embraced because they are about social good. Here traditions need to be given priority since its 1. Non discriminatory (not against all women) 2. Only 1 temple
