    We've already been there with the "should we shut down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac" and it would be disastrous. Fannie Mae is currently the largest backer of 30 year fixed mortgages. He's peacocking for non-bank lending and if I lived in I'd definitely want to know WHY.

    deserves better. If what he's saying is true, that these types of loans help, then why did his state accept Federal Hardest Hit Funds? Why werent his CONSTITUENTS directed to use these loans he stands by?

    Santander (predatory lender), Outsource Recovery, debt collector, Receivables Management Assoc., there are HUNDREDS. LVNV Funding, RMS, Nationwide Recovery, I could go for days and those are just off the top of my head.

    Midland Funding, etc. Some of the more hard core collectors are also settling PART of the debt with the debtor and selling the rest off to another debt buyer. I've been at this 10 years and its only getting worse.
