Hello Murad, I've never heard of a non-digital application for blockchain - has such a thing occurred?
-
-
-
I was referring to things like “putting Stocks / Real Estate on the blockchain”, which, while plausible, still requires some bureaucrat’s / lawyer’s buy-in and permission
-
Buying Bitcoin with fiat also requires that permission right now.
-
Not neccessarily.
-
In theory, perhaps. In practice, very much so.

Other than BTC, what do you think the few others will be to capture 95% of the value?

A non-sovereign monetary store of value protocol will have much stronger networks effects than utility protocols as SOVs are driven by reflexivity (i.e., self-reinforcing feedback between expectations and price). Most likely, there will be one money protocol (1/2)
-
Interchain Interoperability will likely minimize the network effects of utility protocols and will substantially lower switching costs to other networks. Also, protocol-native tokens might no longer be relevant as they can be transferred across different blockchains (2/2).
-
Btw, I just finished an article on store of value vs utility protocols. In case you're interested, I am happy to share it with you. Comments and feedback are appreciated.
-
Definitely interested and I have strong views here too

Great! How can I get in touch with you? If you send me a DM with your address, I’ll send it via email.

They can still use violence to get ur bitcoin. They know exactly how much btc everyone owns. It’s still not violence proof
-
Beyond a certain cryptocurrency user base which will be achieved in the next 1-2 years, there wouldn't be enough soldiers to catch them all.
-
We need completely anonymous dark peer to peer ecosystems
-
Coming very soon. Between bisq and open some, atomic swaps and mimblewimble coming as a sidechain, I think majority of bitcoin is owned by people who the government has no clue of. They see adreesses on-chain. That’s it. After a few hops it’s very difficult to prove ownership

Coinbase and tax filings make it crystal clear
