The trillion dollar chain is what?
institutions will integrate it to survive. this whole movement is about subversion of existing systems and processes, and rethinking and reinventing them entirely, to take power away from the 'licensors'.

One person’s subversion is another’s assimilation. There’s no single narrative at play here. Practical partnerships between innovators and institutions are happening. If and where the tech is appropriate and addresses societal/biz needs, it’ll take hold. If it doesn’t, it won’t.

I agree with you. That being said, I think this is more of a bottom-up movement than a top-bottom one.

Bottom up and top down are meeting. Note also that some of the “top” is itself the product of prior bottom-up work. Our convos with gov’ts, private capital/fund managers, human rights orgs etc. suggest an appetite to test/proof crypto for env, soc and biz outcomes.
