BTC isn't some catch-all panacea. There is things it does well (a lot) and others it doesn't (scalable privacy). This absolutism is impractical.

Yes, I agree. But that's a tautology ala "when it's ready it'll be implemented." Has to be ready first (and perhaps never will/won't be necessary).

You miss my point. If it’s good tech it gets implemented on bitcoin. If it’s half baked and incomplete it gets implemented on a scam coin like
#monero. It’s unlikely given the nature of open source software that this will change. -
That’s not how it works. If it’s good tech AND makes sense for bitcoin it’ll get implemented in bitcoin, ie it is possible implementing CTs or similar to bitcoin doesn’t make sense for bitcoin (eg political reasons, etc).
