True but I was just trying to find something to relate it to because it is in a tech race like a startup and some of its competitors are products made by companies.

It’s less about tech and more about security, censorship-resistance, leaderlessness, immaculate conception, hashpower, Lindy effect, Network effects and Battle Scars (2MB, UASF, 2X)... and the passing of time. In these aspects Bitcoin is “good enough” and may be hard to unseat.
