ownership of Bitcoin is extremely concentrated, and HODLing drives up the price. Currently, 1 bitcoin costs over $8,000. Please tell me how someone living on two dollars a day can afford to buy Bitcoin?

I really don't care. I don't think any of this is remotely helpful to poor communities.
-
Doesn't understand basic Bitcoin facts , "I don't care" This is all we need to know.
-
How do you deduce "I don't know" from "I don't care"? As it happens, I do understand basic Bitcoin facts. I just don't think they are remotely relevant to poor people.
-
Couldn't be less relevant unless the poor people in question have decided to pursue lives of crime

In all fairness the first BTC i bought was for some LSD on Silkroad, but I'm not a crimina;.
-
in which case I think you'd find one of the other available currencies more suitable than BTC- it depends where you live but I'd suggest USD
-
in your neck of the woods, there's one called NZD which does the job really well!
