Although I am fan of blockchain technology and crypto, I too believe that most ICOs will fail. The pressure on price will come from regulators but also investors as the focus starts shifting to actual demand and away from marketing announcements.

The practicality of having to manage 10s if not 100s of tokens to achieve the same thing I get today using traditional SaS model will become obvious.

Most of these toll both tokens won't survive. But some will. At some point it will be more clear where the business potential of tokenization is and corporate world will step in. But this time they don't need to acquire as they can just take the code and poach the team.

The areas that I am watching with interest are: 1. New global store of value 2. Decentralized marketplaces 3. Decentralized web 4. Tokenization of physical assets Projects that do not use ICO to bootstrap themselves are of most interest to me. So far very few :-)
