I guess you’ve never lived in a 2nd or 3rd world country where finding USD or EUR is a huge task in and of itself, and capital controls manage how much foreign superior fiat is available. Bitcoin is also fixed-supply, which will make it extremely in-demand as an inflation hedge.

I've already explained at length on Twitter why central banks hold gold. As I'm British, US politics are not in my remit, so I'm afraid I can't answer the question about Congressional audit of the Fed.

Bitcoin is a global bet against central bankers getting interest rates wrong, which they always do. That's why I said think like you are living in one of those third world countries not GB or the US. But I am happy to read your tweet on the reason why they still hoard gold.
