Agree with this line of thinking. No rent = more efficient markets. A thought: Seems like the benefits from elimination of rents would accrue to the users as lower costs. For digital commodities, open-source means you can only differentiate on cost.

Yes. If Uber price was $100 and $80 went to driver $20 to Uber. It will now be $86 to driver and that’s it. Small Win-Win split between consumer and driver. BUT... i dont think anyone will build this / Unseat Uber in the next 10 years.
