Rabbit Hole Recap - Bull vs Bear Edition
@MartyBent and I got @MustStopMurad into the studio this week to give you his short term bear thesis. We ended up betting a steak.https://anchor.fm/tales-from-the-crypt/episodes/Rabbit-Hole-Recap-Week-of-2018-10-08-Bull-v--Bear-e2c1ai …

Peak Murad.

13. Fibs that Tone draws.

Literally a thread of amoebas. These guys are meant to be representing Bitcoin? Hence why traders and investors from legacy markets like me have came here and are making an absolute killing. Investing alongside children.
-
Please stop hyping yourself up, its off-putting
-
It’s not about you or I, I am just another retail trader. We are equal. Still - Your list is terrible and I’d like to give it an autopsy on a podcast which I’m going to invite you on.
-
Would be my pleasure. At least 20 of those 34 I can defend at length
-
You can’t defend any indicator, I will pull it completely apart. So that clears out most of your list. The remaining points intrigue me and have piqued my interest.
-
Most of the TA indicators are relative to the comparison with the 2014-2015 bear market. It’s relevant or irrelevant depending on whether you believe this cycle will prove it be somewhat similar to the previous one or not. I believe the former.

Think you need to focus on less indicators and master them instead of just pulling in anything that matches your bias.
-
that’s big talk coming from someone whose portfolio is filled to the brim with these worthless shitcoins

Wasn't looking for a fight but appreciate the stalk.
And explain to me why they are shitcoins; I've done my research, looks like you haven't. -
either a cryptoasset is a dominant store of value, or its worthless. soon you will realize this as well.https://medium.com/john-pfeffer/doubts-about-the-long-term-viability-of-utility-cryptoassets-db04350b1f55 …

I appreciate the info, I skimmed through it. However for me, the key threshold to even consider buying an altcoin was that the token actually has value. I have also attempted to not just put money in, but to buy a % of the total supply - reduced supply = increased demand.
-
you don’t need a separate token for each use-case... all the tokens are competing to become money... also simply reducing the supply doesn’t increase demand in and of itself, read this:https://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-token-velocity-problem/amp/ …
-
Other criteria I assessed. https://twitter.com/Danospano92/status/1031025863918141441?s=19 … I am aware this is a speculative investment but the potential reward is very real. Taking partial profits from these alts will also allow me to buy more
$BTC then I would have if I had simply bought it originally - % gains. - 8 more replies

the logic here is that many crypto asset market participants don't understand how these assets need to be valued, not even directionally. Hoping for upside in worthless assets. This isn't a bullish sign for the space as a whole.
-
Most of that list needs throwing in the bin and are absolutely shit excuses for Technical analysis indicators, extremely lagging. Some good points though, thanks for sharing Murad.
-
not lagging, most of them are in relation to comparing it to the previous cycles. fwiw.
-
I guess in 2 months we will see which one of our opinions is right
-
2 months might prove you both right and wrong. :)
-
I really don’t know where he got this two month figure from and his invalidation level is 8600 which is absolutely laughable and proof he hasn’t a clue what he’s talking about. I’ve actually requested one of the podcasts I’m going on to bring him on for a debate. Let’s see.
-
And not that it’s worth anything, but I believe we have a break below $5k at “some”point.
