I concede that looking at the history of the price does tell you what people thought about the value over time. Tells you nothing about the future.

Claiming that it tells *nothing* is a great example of misguided binary thinking I'd say.

I challenge you to write an algorithm that predicts the future price at a given time based on TA. Then hash it and post it here. If you succeed I'll publicly admit defeat.

Again, you're resorting to binary thinking. I never claimed that TA can make such predictions.

You said the charts indicate a no-brainer investment opportunity. Pretty binary, isn't it?

Do you see me predicting a future price at a given time with any confidence? I merely stated this looks like a bottom by precedent on the chart.

"no-brainer" so the no-brainer is to buy
$ETH right now, no?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Okay that's a pretty binary prediction. On what time frame do you think it should be assessed? 1 month? 3 months? 6 months?

It's only a binary prediction if you consider it to be an absolute truth. If my analysis is correct, I'd say time frame of a month is probably closest to the truth. That is to say that we'll be in this region for at most up to a month.
