Yes, I've heard this said before. But this seems strange to me, for all you are doing is measuring the rate of appreciation. The straight line represents 300% appreciation per annum.

USD is a very strong currency. I believe BTC will eventually supplant it, but obviously not as quickly 2024/25. That’s why I believe curves are more appropriate
