"Fat protocols" isn't an investment thesis. It's a utopian vision articulated to help justify a venture capital driven greater fool theory. The better discussion is whether it will be "winner take most" (fat monies) or "winner take all" (BTC maximalism).

BTC is way better than fiat but why is an independent SoV necessary in code-based money? BTC will be unnecessary if stablecoin succeeds. Size of privacy coin market will depend on wallet infrastructure.

Unless I am misunderstanding what stable coin is, why isn’t it just digital fiat? Ie will be debased at same rate fiat is - how is that a SoV?

fiat money is 1) issued nontransparently, 2) issued by a group with their best interest in mind, not yours, 3) fluctuates with small chances of collapsing stablecoin is money that is always the same price in fiat currency or ideally has the same purchasing power

Bitcoin will be *the* stablecoin at maturity. Fixed supply is the best
