They don’t even need firewalls or to coerce ISPs to block nodes. They just need to kill fiat on ramps. Once it becomes policed heavily and fresh capital can’t come in, and people can’t get their capital out, it will retreat to relative obscurity in those nations.

Countries are adversarial, not cooperative. If one country bans cryptoassets, they risk staying in middle ages in terms of digital and monetary innovation. Countries that embrace this will thrive. Those that ban will shoot themselves in the foot.
