So how do you feel about soft forks? No impact on the base layer? 40% of txs using segwit now. Is that a change to base layer or no?
-
It will follow Pareto’s law. 2-3 major networks will control 80% of the market share. Even today you can see that FANGs are multi billion dollar networks occupying various markets. Monocultures don’t exist
-
Cryptocurrencies are money not equity, FANGs all focus on different products, money is the same exact thing
-
So how does dollar euro yen coexist? By Gresham’s law only one should have succeeded right ?
-
Borders + Governments + State Decrees + Legal Tender Laws + Tax Laws + Debt Extinguishing Laws + Local Monopolies on Money Supply + Local Monopoly on Violence... things that don't exist in the Digital Borderless Realm.

So u feel China & Russia will let bitcoin take over their financial system;)

Hey ur the most reasonable dude I have seen among the cult members, but this seems like a stretch. You don’t About how ruthless these dictators are, power at any cost is their motto. They will erect firewalls like how built the filtered internet.

ETH’s changes don’t keep me up at night. If you view them as improvements then while it may
risk it also
the reward/TAM.
BTC still has a scaling problem and there’s 0 urgency to address it despite that it’s another bull run from capacity. That keeps me up at night. -
You have lost sleep worried about bitcoins scaling?
-
Metaphorically speaking (I hold some BTC). I’m sure Murad doesn’t literally sleep better because BTC isn’t trying to scale its base layer. Maybe he does? He certainly loves his BTC

-
I actually do sleep better knowing that any proposals to "improve" bitcoin have a massive uphill climb, and that the bitcoin foundation nor any individual has undue influence on the process
