Last of Us Part 2... No words. I feel empty after that. What a story though. I dont agree with why people hated the story so much, the end emotional impact would have been lost if it played out any differently. I want to gush on the narrative arrangement, but I wont spoil it.

ALSO, you could easily pull together a convincing paper together about a combination of guitar, symbolism, and forgiveness. The game is full of deep symbolism and Joel’s guitar is at the center of so much of it.

Gonna have to give a hard disagree to that but I can respect the opinion. I do agree with the symbolism, but I shudder a little at the execution.

I understand where you’re coming from. When I talk about the payoff, it almost sounds like I admit the middle was so tough to get through. It was beyond uncomfortable. But I guess I fell for the “well that’s the point” schtick. It almost sounds Stockholm-y to put it that way.
