1/Last week we realized that the mysterious little bronze was Mithras doing a sacrifice. Who was him then? It was a indo-iranian god whose esoteric worship spread into West since the 1st century AD.

2/According to his usual iconography he is represented as a young with oriental clothing, Phrygian cap, slaying the bull. The sacrifice is the core of this mystery religion, a salutary action in favour of the universe and mankind.

Joking aside, I believe we're looking at young God Mitras, wearing a phrygian cap and holding a bull (missing) by his horn, whilst slaying it using a dagger (also missing). Young deity chap has his leg pressed against bulls back
