    Rule of Rose had some bizarre unlockable costumes. My favorite is the one that turns your dog into a chair.

    There is a version of the secret room accessible during "The Funeral" chapter with some names written on the wall. These are names of some of the BG artists from Shirogumi that worked on the game.

    Not in time for Halloween sadly, but last month I spent a good amount of time reversing the model format for the PS2 horror cult classic Rule of Rose.

    I always think more people know this, but I just blew a few people's minds at work today. Sirena Beach's weird design is because it's a GameCube controller. The Hotel itself is a GameCube, and the fountain in the bottom left is a memory card & game disc.

    Huge thanks to for featuring my entry Intercom! The jam was a great time and I learned quite a bit from the experience. I've already started writing down ideas for rooms, puzzles, and even a possible ending to the story. (Awesome fanart by )

    Not exactly sure how this happened, but I'm still in shock at how well my first game jam entry was received out of 2,646 submissions. I've gotten some really awesome feedback as well.

    I'm also steadily learning how to parse maps from KH2. Eventually I'd like the map viewer to support all three PS2 games.

    Quick look at an Atlantica map, where animations are moslty driven by shifting UV coordinates across a transparent surface.

    The map viewer now shows basic texture and UV animations. Some of the nicer looking effects are done using particles, which the tool doesn't handle right now but should support eventually.

    Super basic collision mesh. That's about 1/6 of the actual data in the collision block in the BIN file. Adding a TODO on the rest of it.
