So I made a small meatloaf but I can’t tell if I messed it up or if the meat was bad (it didn’t smell bad, but I’m terrible and can’t actually tell). Now I’m afraid to eat it.

It looks fine to me, good coloring and even with the white bits it loosk well put together. What did you put in it besides eggs and breadcrumbs? We usually put onions so that changes how the meat smells

I ended up eating some cause it most certainly didn't smell like bad meat. And so far, I'm okay.

You can usually tell in the first 20 min to couple hours if it is bad
