It becomes increasingly difficult to navigate online groups when I can’t decipher when my feelings are less important than others… or are

considered insignificant completely. I often set aside my feelings in favor of others, but at what point is the expectation of this just

people asking for too much. For example, this morning I was told to consider my abuser’s feelings and set my own aside in favor of theirs.

Because I don’t know what’s going on in the abuser’s life, so reaction is just The Most Terrible Thing I could do.

When I talk about the less fun parts of Blizzcon, and I have to preface it with “I had fun but…” to explain how often I was creeped on, and

how often I cared more about not ruining the creepers fun than standing up for myself and saying “Stop fucking touching me!”
