I've never had tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich and as such have never understood the Campbell's soup commercials... is that really a thing or is it something that they invented to sell all of the spare tomato soup that no one wanted to buy?

Yes. Yes you do. At least to try it the one time. It isn’t for everyone but if you like grilled cheese and you like tomato soup they are lovely together

It was never a thing in my house growing up and I have a sorta fraught relationship with tomatoes... like the flavor hate the texture of the unprocessed fruit. However yeah I need to try.
