I tried to do the massive chain catch thing of vulpix’s and it got broken from a fleeing pokemon after 70-something so that’s the end of that experiment.

Yup. In Go and Let’s Go it gives you extra candy and increases chances of rares spawning. There are lures, like in Go (and other Pokemon games). But if you hear about people chaining it’s to try to get shinies. Or candies. Or bragging rights. Heh.
Ahh. This is new to me. I don't have a switch so let's go isn't an option. May have to try it in go if I can. Not always easy to find certain Pokémon around here

Yeah. It’s easier with the common ones, but the community event makes/made it easier.

Sadly I missed this months. Completely forgot about it and really didn't go out this weekend. And this coming weekend I will be doing my annual Christmas cookie bake-o-thon. Will see how many dozen I make. Plus my nieces and nephews will be over to decorate gingerbread
