You don't believe that male sexual predators exist. It must be nice living in a fantasy world. Wake up. It has already happened.

I think some people still don't understand that "identify as a woman" means literally just declaring oneself a woman. People are still imagining men putting on makeup, dresses, etc. and think "nah, a man wouldn't emasculate himself like that".

Then those people are still buying in to toxic masculinity tropes. It's moved on: sexual predators will dress as appropriately to the situation as they can if it aids their aim.

Exactly. That is what predators do. They adapt.

Yup. One has to wonder: why do so many but want to recognise this? Best answer is naivety, but she surely enabling/colluding

I think some women don't want to admit how depraved men can be. It's too scary.

Exactly. Many men don't want to admit it either. For anyone, it destroys their just world hypothesis so easier overall to not believe that bad things happen to good people

Does your brand of feminism extend to not patronising other women? I accept there may be a tiny % of criminals that abuse this inclusivity but the upside is worth it: to include transwomen into society & if she identifies herself as a woman, she is a woman

Mentioning the fact that most people have a just world hypothesis is not patronising. Valuable work is being done on minimising risk and also on extending equality/opportunity for all: one should not preclude the other.

Have you heard yourself though? “Maybe these women just don’t understand....” There is always a risk of being sexually assaulted in any walk of life. To link that risk with the rights of a transwoman to live her life without fear of prejudice is disgraceful

Why are so many transwomen homophobic?
Why are so many transwomen obsessed with shagging lesbians? #cottonceiling
Why are biological women expected to have their rights and bodies violated because of fundamentally angry, hateful men? #incel
Maybe start at the beginning?
