    Social media creates an environment where only specific art is shared and elevated, and it can feel really discouraging when your art doesn't fit that mold. But, forcing your work to be sharable doesn't always fix that, and that force can often kill your drive to create art.

    I decided on a whim to draw them even more realistic for once. What have I done?! You shouldn't do that to your comic characters! 😱 (Maybe I should have looked for reference pictures of people who actually look like I imagine them, but I doubt I would have found sth like that!)

    I'm still not totally sure about the grade of stylisation I want. More stylised would probably be more fitting for the storyline. But there's something very humorous about taking crazy ideas dead serious. So I'm very likely going for more realistic proportions.

    I'm trying to figure out body types for my new comic's characters. Why do they look so similar even though one's limbs are like twice the size of the other's? I want to make them distinguishable even though both have to have military haircuts and body types & wear the same stuff.
