Reading about the Muto rent boy allegations (http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2015/08/26/national/politics-diplomacy/ex-ldp-lawmaker-takaya-muto-involved-sex-scandal-report/ …), I've learned anti-prostitution laws don't cover same sex transactions.
