whose lobbyists have created an unequal, unjust playing field, impacting our small businesses and communities. Daines is not a friend of small business and hopes people will mistake his fealty to large multinational corporations as being pro-business in general. Daines, even

before elected, suggested Great Depression II inducing policies in the wake of the Great Recession, which would have devastated small business. He has repeatedly voted to deprive tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Montanans, including those with

pre-existing conditions, of basic health care coverage, attempting to make Montana’s and America’s workforce sicker and less productive, hurting small businesses. He then voted, late in the business cycle, to blow a multi-trillion dollar hole through the nation’s pocketbook, in

order to give foreign investors, America’s wealthiest families, large multinational corporations, hedge fund managers, private equity fund managers, and powerful C-suite executives huge, one-time bonuses – shifting the competitive landscape even more against small businesses. He

endorses an ill-advised, unilaterally conducted trade war against China that has hurt our Main Streets, our farmers and ranchers, our railroad workers, and others dependent on a thriving agricultural community – that’s not being small business friendly. He opposes sensible

anti-trust regulation that will prevent large monopolies and monopsonies from crushing small business owners. He opposes net neutrality, which is a life-line for small businesses. He opposes public education which supplies small businesses quality workers, and trains the next

generation of entrepreneurs. He is aligned with those who wish to sell off America’s public lands, which provide our nation and Montana an economic competitive advantage, driving small businesses forward. He opposes clean energy, a huge opportunity for small businesses, and, at

the same time, has presided over the decimation of traditional energy industries by refusing to acknowledge the stark reality of climate change. Conversely, I’m pro-small business. I’m of the business sector with an MBA from London Business School. I’ve owned a Montana ranch

and farm – not inherited, purchased through hard work. I’ve lived in rural Montana, including Eastern, Central, and Western Montana, and get the challenges and needs of rural America’s small businesses. I understand small business and salute our small businesses which are
