I realise the word is misogynistic, but you’re failing to recognise the context of the insult - namely, that it was in response to transphobia, some arsehole expressing TERFy opinions. I’m focussed on the part of it that matters.

Ah I see. So following that same logic, it would also be fine to use homophobic or racist insults in that context? In response to what you deem as transphobia?

Oh Christ, if I was alt-righting my way through the worst of opinions and someone told me to shut my stupid fag mouth, I really think the use of the word wouldn’t be the most reprehensible part of the scenario. Would be better to use another word, for sure, but.

Mate, you can’t compare gender critical feminists to the alt-right, that’s just stupid. And if you’re justifying hate speech, arent you guilty of what you’re accusing us of? Where does it end?

‘Gender critical’ is too often a euphemism for transphobic beliefs, which get shared by plenty of people who would consider themselves one or other side of the political spectrum. I think it’s easy to find transphobes in the ‘gender critical’ ‘real woman’ community.

The actual transphobes are the men that attack and murder trans people. Women worried about the erosion of hard won sex based protections are not really a threat, are they? It’s easy to be dismissive of these issues when they don’t affect you

Including trans women within your sex based protections won’t erode them, though. Trans women have always, and I’m sure will continue to, represent women and their rights.

What about our right to meet and talk as a sex class? What about our right to question a very male presenting person entering a communal female changing space? What about our right to request a same sex nurse to perform our smears?

Trans women are part of your sex class. They’re women. Their inclusion doesn’t undermine this right.

Oh, fuck out of here. What would you know of this??? Nothing, that's what. I am beyond irritated at every god damned man chiming in with his useless, uninformed .02. Don't you have an MRA meeting to go to? Cry over being incel? Anything?
