Constantly asked by friends to take photos for free. Photoshoots are expensive if you're going to ask your photographer friends for a favor make sure you understand the monetary value of that favor.

It's tough. I feel like I have to be the bad guy no matter what when I'm put in this position. I either have to tell them no, which obviously makes me feel bad because they're friends. Or, I have to ask them to pay me, which makes me feel bad because again, they're my friends.
There is not a single way out of that. They basically have to understand that you aren’t a “weekend” photographer.

Yeah unfortunately in photography people really don't get that I don't just point a camera at them and press the shutter. I have to light it, I have to edit it and it takes a lot of time.
