I dont want to start a problem where there is none. I am not trying to make judgements, merely making an observation. I just know that anime has a long history of putting down each other. I know BB players who treat GG and Uni poorly as well. The problem exists in many scenes.
I think Humans as a whole, love to group things they like and then harp on things that aren't what they find ideal. No matter what it is,(games, politics food) people love to disrespect people for it.
