Not worth risking the brand safe image for most. I've seen a ton of players keep it very clean online. A lot of players don't really use their socials as a means for themselves but instead the brand they want fans to see.
I totally understand When I say it shouldn't be like that, it's directed at the people reacting towards any opinions that are slightly off the norm. Not the ones that hesitate to tweet about their honest thoughts. Can't blame em at all
I personally just think Twitter just isn't a good place to have deep conversations. I think video format is a lot better, because people often read comments in different tones and points get lost and misconstrued in different tweets. Harder to have that in video (or in person).
It's like that on any social media platform where people mostly communicate through text. There is something particular about the way that Twitter is set up specifically that promotes dogpiling extra hard I've noticed.
