I get where you're coming from ZeRo, but the US should be compared to other modern western countries rather than third world countries. Just because you're better off here than a third world country doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for improvement
Compared to Canada, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Norway and many other countries the US is severely behind in several areas such as healthcare, infrastructure, public transportation, education etc the list goes on

As a citizen of the US, I agree that we have a TON to improve on, BUT, I don't think it makes sense to compare countries that either have way smaller populations or way smaller land masses to the US in infrastructure, public transport, and eductation it is not a 1 to 1 thing.

This isn't to dismiss what you're saying, it's just to say that if we're gonna look at everything with empirical data these huge differences need to be factored in. I mean, New York City itself has a larger population than The Netherlands and Sweden individually do.

As a Canadian, our healthcare sucks. We overpay for everything here. Things can cost close to double what they do down there, our dollar is weak. We wait in emergency rooms for 6-8 hours with broken limbs on a good day with our "free" healthcare that we pay taxes out the ass for.

And I actually hate listening to Americans talk about how great and wonderful Canada's healthcare system is. It's actually terrible and you're better off seeking private medical care in the states. Where I'm from we have some of the most expensive dental in the world.

This is what i respect. I really like the US but i don't mind other people not thinking it's best, but *not everyone gives good reasons* These are good/ legitimate reasons to not care much for the US
