Honestly I believe today’s youth have no will to commitment. Trade jobs require manual labor . Companies are having a hard time recruiting from trade schools . I agree with your point though , and trade schooling is much , much cheaper than college .

Some of my classmates, struggle so much & don’t think they will graduate. They feel pressured 2 stay in college when they could do well with an associates degree or trade school education & be very successful. Plus their debt would be less.

I've been saying this for years, just consider what would happen if all of a sudden, there were no more mechanics, society as we know it would come to a screeching halt. Nothing would move, no movement of goods at all, no air travel, no shipping, no commuter trains.
