I'm wondering if this crisis will bring back unscheduled phone conversations. No more appointment calling or Skyping. But, if you're in the mood to chat, you just dial a number. I know it sounds radical, but you wouldn't believe how common it was in the 20th century.

Here's hoping. But first, ya gotta get people to move past texting. Then ya gotta get 'em to answer their phone. (Unlike the days of party lines, when you sometimes answered calls that weren't even for you.)
