    I’ve never been more excited about a series premiere than I was for this one. It was a massive disappointment, of course - more like THE WALTONS with apes than the PLANET OF THE APES movies - but I watched every episode. All 14 of them. PS - The title sequence and music hold up.

    40 years ago today, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK opened at the Village Twin Theatre in Raleigh, NC where I had a summer job. I lost count of how many times I’ve seen it, but I love it every time. Happy 40th, RAIDERS! (Here’s the U-boat model shoot with Indy strapped to the periscope!)

    I got to work with Clarence Williams III on my second TV movie, THE LOVE BUG, back in 1995. I had grown up watching him as Linc in THE MOD SQUAD and thought he was the epitome of cool. Turns out he was. Rest In Peace, Clarence.
