I typed the code, got the payload and launched. Its now stuck on black screen on top, red screen on bottom. What should I do?

Did you download the good hax payload for you specific region and version ?

yeah Old 3ds 11.0.0.33 and USA. It said it was downloaded successfully and so then I went back to the first option and launched

you mean the homebrew starter kit? If so yes. but its still in starter folder. Also is it safe to turn it off and re attempt?

You should have the boot.3dsx and the 3ds folder at the root of your SD card
