I applaud the NFL’s new policy that will fine players for showing disrespect to the American flag and our national anthem. Those fines should be substantial and should be donated to disabled veterans charities. #MaSen
That’s a good point, but their contracts don’t forbid it to my knowledge. It’s a harmless political statement, let them have their protest.

What if the cable guy decided to protest at work? He comes to your home to fix your broken service wearing a graphic shirt protesting abortion. While your 5 year-old waits to watch the Wiggles, or whatever show tots like these days. Not the same proportion, sure, but valid.
