My hometown #Stoughton is voting today on whether to recall 3 of our 5 selectmen, over issues relating to civility, the town manager hiring process, and procedural problems. I voted to recall only selectman Peter Brown.

@MrJonLott - Just to clarify, What exactly is a "Selectman"? It sounds like City Councilmen, but I've never heard the term "Selectmen" before - Is there a difference in duties?
It’s a New England form of government. Selectmen are like councilmen but there is no mayor, they are all equal, and they all serve at-large positions.
