      This is a poorly thought out idea, passed because virtue-signaling, and Mayor Walsh should veto it and let the market push plastic bags aside if #Boston consumers really want that.       Simply put: consumers like plastic bags, and it’s easier for businesses. Also, I guarantee you many gas stations and places in Chinatown will defy the ban, and never get punished. And no politicians will really care because the ban was really about making a statement.
