      Totally disagree. He has accomplished virtually nothing in 10 months. Bush & Obama were much more influential; they did have 8 years though.

      Gorsuch. Appointing right wing judges at an almost record clip. Presiding over the dismantling of the government. Hate crimes way up. White supremacy making a big comeback. Erasing whatever dignity the country had. An entire planet that looks down at the United States...

      1/2. Starting with Gorsuch, he’s ONE Justice. Bush and Obama (and many others) had multiple nominees. As for federal judges, fewer than 20% have been confirmed so far. Government dismantling is bad, but it’s barely started and far overblown...

      2/2But his legacy will have an enormous impact. Republicans LOVE what they are seeing. Trump has shown them that demagoguery is a winner. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hannity runs and wins when Trump is done. Or we see Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore next time there’s a vacancy.

      His legacy could be undone if he’s impeached (or resigns or dies, etc.). The point is: it’s wrong to speculate on his future while claiming he’s the most influential. Roy Moore for SCOTUS, are you serious? 😖 Our international reputation will never recover, but Bush 43 was worse.

      Bush 43 had eight years to be worse. Trump’s had 10 months. Why is Roy Moore being a SC Justice such an unbelievable thing to believe? Never in a million yrs would I have thought that someone as thoroughly ridiculous as DT could be President. Such a vile, base person. But he is.

          1/2 I’m not predicting that but I would never say never. Especially given the ascension of evangelical ideology. The imposition of religion is totally unacceptable. Religious freedom (freedom to discriminate against anyone not a white Christian) is becoming more and more common..

          2/2 I’m, obviously, not as optimistic as you. I’m thankful to have been born in the US but I’ve lost a ton of respect for my own country in the past 2+ years. No matter what happens with DT I don’t think it will ever recover to become normal again.
