The first 48 hours were bad. I couldn’t keep my eyes open for more than a second at a time. Lots of soreness, lots of sleep. Not to mention the surgery itself which was freaky & uncomfortable—but quite fast. After the first 4 days my vision rapidly improved—it’s not 20/20 yet tho

That first 48hrs is making me nervous. I'm so scared the pain will be unbearable lol. I asked the Doc and he said after a week the pain isnt so severe.

My doc prescribed me low-dose painkillers and you’ll also be using copious eye drops. It’s a different kind of pain sensation, and certainly not the worst pain I’ve ever felt, so don’t worry too much about that. Take the week off. The pain stops a few days after surgery.
