Are you planning to introduce legislation that would eliminate all of our country's land and aircraft based nuclear missiles (which seem to be assumed to only be useful for first strikes, which we need to explicitly commit to never engage in)?
Around this time on this day 75 years ago, the United States dropped the first nuclear bomb on an enemy city: #Hiroshima. It was not the last. We must strive, as a species, never to use nuclear weapons in wartime again.pic.twitter.com/F5QJren9PU

We should, in concert with Russia (and other interested nations), drastically reduce our stockpiles of nuclear weapons. I don’t believe we currently live in a time when we can 100% do away with them, but we are working towards that future—eventually.
