Just waking up to the latest news on Beirut. It seems after Trump wildly floated an "attack" yesterday it was ammonium nitrate that was unsafely stored and exploded? Did I get that right?
Supposedly the blast was triggered by someone welding a door shut. There may or may not have been fireworks that triggered the ammonia nitrate explosion, but it appears like it was purely welding sparks that caught 2,750 tons of discarded fertilizer and blew up.
