If you were in a room with 100 people and they told you someone was coming soon with a gun to ONLY kill 3 ppl, you wouldn’t panic because “it’s a 97% survival rate?”

Things like this remind me that •many people are selfish af and only care about what happens to them •most people are narcissistic and over value how good their health and fitness is. •numbers just aren’t most peoples things

Selfish, because they think if “I won’t die” that makes it ok to become infected due to lack of precautions, because the price they have to pay is low, only sick people should worry.

a virus is spreading at this velocity, if one dznt tk precautions they will absolutely eventually come into contact w/ someone who will die from it. 1 person infects Dzns >hndrds>thousands It’s not just about U (insert UR ugly name here). Other people need U not to be a dummy.

Narcissistic, because america as a whole isn’t the healthiest country right now for a bunch of reasons. everyone thinks they are the textbook picture of health. Overweight, malnutritioned, low excercised, cigarette smoking, hookah smoking , low lung capacity pictures of health.

Numbers are just numbers to most people too. They hear a low number like 3% & immediately dismiss the idea of it being important.

The CDC estimate 25-70% of people will get
#DaRona , so 80-220m give or take in the US. 3% of that is still 2-6.5 million ppl who could die. That’s kind of big deal, and we should try and make that number as small as possible.Show this thread -
It’s not a PANIC to take precautions to slow down a global pandemic, but most people are any combo of selfish ,dumb and narcissistic so, we just have to hope for the best.

Wash your hands and things ppl touch often , stop touching people, don’t hang out in groups just for a little while so we keep people alive.

Before you @ me ask me if you or anyone you know has diabetes, high blood pressure, uses an inhaler , or has heart problems. And ask yourself, “do I care if they live or die?”pic.twitter.com/Iheau5I6DJ
