    To come out of the closet, at any stage of your life, can be both confusing and brave. To come out, especially later on and after having a family, is exceptionally brave. Self-acceptance is beautiful, and I wish Phillip Schofield all the happiness.

    The BBC wrongly identified a black female Labour MP, then the Evening Standard wrote a story about the BBC mistake and used a photo of a *different* wrong black female Labour MP, now the Standard is blaming major photo agency Getty Images who they say *also* made that mistake.

    It breaks my heart. For those who moan and complain about LGBT representation, or education, or any strides towards equality, this is exactly why we need them. We cannot afford complacency.

    My little brother got beaten up at school today by 3 boys. They punched and kicked him while calling him a ‘faggot’ and a ‘gay cunt’. My brother is unapologetically himself. He is kind, he is generous and he is completely selfless but because he’s gay he gets beaten up. I’m sick.

    My mental health rollercoaster started many years ago, likely as a child. It was confusing and terrifying to cope with what would be later diagnosed as bipolar disorder at a young age. Awareness events, such as , are integral. Never too early to learn.

    One thing I will certainly praise Praxeus for is the LGBT representation - and not killing off the queer characters. Representation on the screen is so, so important. Especially for younger viewers.
