He's not armed, he's dead. When he dropped the gun and put his hands up he was no longer "armed teen" when he was shot. I'm not sure I understand the world you think we live in were it's okay to shoot kids so long as they have a nickname you don't like

He didn't "drop" the gun. He ran up to a fence edge with part of his body concealed, threw the gun behind the fence and then spun around. He put the cop in a terrible situation. He didn't drop the gun so the cop could see he dropped it.
