No just criminals.
So they surrendered their dignity... and ultimately gained nothing. An object lesson for us all, I suppose.
They gained a smashed up truck, being chased down the street by a gang, gained a lost cell phone (see it fell out of his pocket?), and 100% loss of dignity.
Bow down to their religion, or else. It's a crusade. It's a non-theistic religious crusade. Nothing less.
He realized too late that appeasement never works.
